Week 1

Study Week 1 Prayer (Ephesians 6:18 AMPC)  Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). We are to pray at all times, on every occasion and in every season. We are to use all kinds of prayer. We are to stay alert and keep watch.  This keeps us in a constant state of being prepared. The Bible is full of examples and emphasizes how we must “keep watch”. (Psalm 119:148 AMPC) (1 Chronicles 9:22-27 AMPC) (Mark 13:33-37 AMPC) (Matthew 24:43 AMPC) (James 5:16b AMPC) (1 Peter 4:7 AMPC) Prayer has to start with a desire to go deeper with God. (2 Chronicles 7:14 AMPC) (James 4:6 AMPC) (Daniel 10:12 AMPC) (James 4:8a AMPC) Ask yourself these 5 important questions about prayer. Do I earnestly desire to go deeper with God?  Do I crave more of Him?  Do I want to pray and seek Him more?   Do I want to see more power and purpose in my prayers? Am I prepared to Humble myself and my own agenda and be more disciplined to make a step to set my heart and mind to understand God’s ways and His agenda. And do I want to do a better job of watching and praying for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as well as myself and my family.?  And do I feel the Lord is urging me in this area,  THE 8 PRAYER WATCHES THE FIRST WATCH The Evening Watch (6:00PM-9:00PM) “A time of quiet reflection” Scriptures to pray and meditate on during this watch. Remember to let Holy Spirit guide you as you pray.  You don’t need to follow these prayers, they are just a guideline to help get you started. (1 Chronicles 23:30 AMPC) (Matthew 14:23 AMPC) (Mark 1:32 AMPC) (Luke 4:40 AMPC) (James 4:6 AMPC) (Psalm 119:105) Father I thank you that your Word is lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Light up my path and help me see clearly today as I meditate on Your Word. (Hebrews 8:10) Father I thank you that You have imprinted Your laws on my mind and my heart. You are my God and I am Your son/daughter.   (Jeremiah 15:16) Thank you Father for Your Word, it is food for my hungry soul and Your Word brings me joy when I consume it.  (Psalm 119:11) I have laid it up in my heart, that I might not sin against You (Proverbs 3:5-6) Father I trust in You with all my heart, and I do not lean on my own understanding.  I acknowledge You in all my ways, guide, lead and make straight all my paths.  (Psalm 32:8) Father I thank You for Your counsel and that You are always watching over me.  Instruct me and teach me in the way I should go. (Psalm 16:7)  (Psalm 37:4) Father I delight myself in You, and thank you for giving me the desires and petitions of my heart. (Psalm 34:10) Father I thank you that as I seek You I will lack no good thing. (Philippians 4:19) For You supply my every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 9:8) And I thank you that You make every grace, favour and earthly blessing come to me in abundance.  That no matter what the circumstance or what the need, I will be self sufficient having enough for every good work and requiring no aid or support. (Proverbs 3:4) I thank you Father that I am favoured and highly esteemed among God and man. Key points to Remember:  We must align ourselves with God’s plans and visions. What has God put on your heart.  Remember to ask Him for His direction, and what He wants to pray through us. We need to pray expecting!  Expect big things to happen! Remember prayer is not just about words, it’s about humbling ourselves before God, and setting our hearts and our minds to seek and understand His will.  And when we do, heaven takes notice, and we impact the spiritual realm! (Daniel 10:12-13)

I rejoice and sing of Your mighty strength and power, Your mercy and lovingkindness.  You have been a defense, a fortress a refuge to me in my distress, I will sing praises to You my God, my strength, my defense, my high tower. (Psalm 68) Father God arise and scatter my enemies. Blessed be You Lord, You bear my burdens and carry me day to day.  You are a God to me of deliverance and salvation.  Thank God, pray the Scripture out loud and spend time in praise and worship exalting God. (Exodus 12:29-31) Father God, just as you slew all the first born Egyptians who were preventing the Israelites from achieving their destiny, I ask you to slay any force that is in the way, holding me back, or preventing me from achieving my destiny and fulfilling Your call for me in my life. Pray that any assignments the enemy is planning will be thwarted and stopped. (Micah 2:1-2) Father I come against all the evil the enemy is plotting tonight for the day ahead. (Isaiah 8:10) (Job 5:12) Father I ask you to frustrate the devices of the enemy according to Your Word, so that his hands cannot perform that enterprise he is scheming and anything already set in motion will have no lasting worth. Week 3

Study Week 3 Prayer Bible Study Week 3 Prayer THE THIRD WATCH The Breaking of Day Watch (12:00am-3:00am) “A time for Spiritual Warfare” This is the darkest and most demonic part of the night. The enemy uses the fact that we are usually asleep to wreak havoc. But this is also a very powerful time of warfare and breakthrough if we engage these forces head on. This watch is the darkest and most demonic part of the night, But also a powerful time of breakthrough. (1 Kings 3:20 AMPC) (Matthew 26:34,74) (Mark 4:39 AMPC) Do not be afraid of this watch or the demonic activity. (Psalm 91:5-6)TPT You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Father I thank you that you have given us authority and power of evil things.  And I do not need to be afraid. I pray protection and peace over my family, my children, my neighborhood, my city, my church, my bothers and sisters in Christ, and over our nation. I come against any fear operating at this time and command it to cease. I pray peace be still in the Name of Jesus. Command your day before it begins. (Deuteronomy 28:7). Father I thank you that any enemies who try to rise up against me today will be defeated before my face. They will come at me one way but shall flee before me in 7.  (Psalm 21:11) Father I thank you that the evil plot which the enemy plotted against me will not be able to be performed. (Psalm 44:5) I thank you also that through You I shall push down my enemies and tread underfoot all who rise up against me. (Mark 4:39) Just as Jesus rebuked the wind and the waves, I rebuke any storm of destruction trying to steal a blessing or provisions in my life. This is a powerful time to strengthen yourself spiritually. If there is an attack coming against you at this time, it is most likely in an area you are weak.  You can use this info, seek the Lord for fighting direction, and let Him strengthen you so you can fight and gain a victory, in an area where you once struggled. Pray for release from every prison. (Acts 16:25-26) Father just as you broke open the prison doors for Paul and Silas I ask you to break open the prison doors over myself in any area I am bound, as well as I intercede for anyone I know who is bound in prison and I ask you to break those doors open in Jesus name. (Exodus 12:29a, 31) (Judges 16:3) A time to come to the Father and plead your case.  A time of earnest prayer. (Luke 11:5-13)  A time of powerful dreams  (Job 33:15-16) Pray for protection and peace in your dreams and sleep. (Proverbs 3:24) (Isaiah 54:17a) (Psalm 4:8) (Philippians 4:8) (Isaiah 26:3-4) Father I thank you for sweet sleep tonight and that no weapon that is formed against me or my dreams will prosper. In peace I will lie down and sleep.  Help me to meditate and think on Godly things, things that are true, pure and lovable.  And as I fix my mind on you, guard me and keep me in perfect peace.  For I confidently trust and rely on You my everlasting Rock. Pray Psalms 91 for protection. (Psalm 91) (Read the whole chapter aloud) Be cautious of this time at night and the evil that is at work.  You must be on your guard. (Matthew 26:34,74) Father I recognize the evil at work at this time of night. I will not speak any idle word against myself, my brothers or You.  I will not speak any negative thing against my destiny or anything contrary to what you have spoken over my life.  If I have said anything in the past which is against Your will for my life, I repent for it now in Jesus name, forgive me.  From this moment on, I only speak what Your Holy Word says about me, and over my life. In Jesus Name Amen. THE FOURTH WATCH The Morning Watch from (3:00am-6:00am) “A time for Angelic activity and intervention” This is a time of much angelic intervention, divine intervention, this is a powerful watch! But it’s also a very disciplined watch. It’s not easy to wake up this early before you start your day. In my opinion (life) this is the most powerful watch to pray in. (Genesis 32:22-31) Jacob wrestled with God (Judges 7:19-24) Gideon defeated the Midianites (Luke 2:8) Angels appeared to the shepherds (1 Samuel 3:4-15) God called Samuel (1 Samuel 11:11) Saul over the Ammonites (Exodus 12) God delivers Israel from slavery (Exodus 14:21-31) God parts the Red Sea (Matthew 14:25) Jesus and Peter walk on water (Matthew 28:1) Jesus Resurrection from the dead (Psalm 19:2 ERV) (Mark 1:35 AMPC) This is a disciplined prayer watch. It takes God’s grace and training and discipline.  (Matthew 24:43) Father God, help me become disciplined and to watch.  And show me any areas in my life that are open to attack. Give me the grace to pray and watch. Pray and declare God’s Word and His promises. (Psalm 103:20) (Psalm 91:15) (Proverbs 15:29) (Job 22:27-28) (Isaiah 55:11) (Isaiah 40:8) (Hebrews 13:8) Father I thank you that your angels hear the voice of your Word.  And Your Word says that You hear my prayers when I pray.  Your Word says that I shall also decide and decree a thing and it will be established. And Your Word will go forth from Your mouth and it will not return void but it will accomplish the thing which You sent it for.  As well Your Word endures forever and never ends and it is the same yesterday today and forever.  So I pray these promises of Your Word over my life. FIND SOME PROMISES OF GOD TO PRAY AT THIS TIME!!! (Deuteronomy 28 : 3-14) THE FIFTH WATCH The Early Morning Watch from (6:00am-9:00am) “A time of strength, Christ rises in us as the sun rises” This watch is a time of spiritual and physical strengthening. Just as the sun rises each morning it is a reminder of how Christ has risen from the death and darkness with healing in His wings. It’s a time to rejoice and for joy and to leap from the stall of your house. (Malachi 4:2 AMPC) (Acts 2:15 AMPC) (Psalm 2:7-9 ERV) (Luke 4:42 AMPC) It’s a time for Holy Spirit to prepare us for service. God sent the Holy Spirit in the morning in the upper room to the 120 in Acts 2. He was preparing them for the work ahead.  (Acts 2:15) Father I pray Your Holy Spirit would equip and empower me today, and prepare me for all the work I will face and do today.  And I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to be so strong on my life today that I would resemble those men in Acts 2 who looked like they were drunk. (Malachi 4:2) Father thank you for sending Your Son Jesus, and thank you for His death and resurrection. I will rise today just as Jesus rose from the grave, and I will rise with healing in my body just as Christ rose with healing in His.  I will rise over death and destruction and rise above all evil forces and anything that would hold me back today, just as Jesus has risen over all those as well.  I will go forth today leaping from the stall and rejoicing in my day for the great and mighty victory is mine through Christ.  (Philippians 4:13) Father I thank you that I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me. I am ready for anything this day in Him who infuses inner strength into me.  I am self sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. (Proverbs 16:3) Father I commit all my works to You this day.  And as I thank you that all my plans will be established and succeed according to Your Word.  Also cause all my thoughts to become agreeable to Your Will. (Psalm 103:1-5) Father I thank you for forgiving all my iniquities, for healing each and every disease, for redeeming me from the pit, for beautifying, dignifying and crowing me with loving kindness and tender mercies, for satisfying my mouth with good things so my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. I am strong, overcoming and soaring, I am forgive from every sin, and healed from every disease in Jesus Name Amen. THE SIXTH WATCH (9:00am-12:00pm) “A time to see God’s promises fulfilled” This is the time that Christ was crucified and a time to remember we are crucified with Christ as well. A time to reflect on the finished work of the cross and to see those promises fulfilled in our lives. God’s promises were fulfilled in Christ. Pray and give thanks to the Lord for fulfilling His promises. (Jeremiah 31:31-34 AMPC) (Isaiah 53:11-12 AMPC) (Mark 15:25 AMPC) Father thank you for fulfilling your promises to us through Christ.  Your promises that You would be our God and we would be Your people. Thank you for putting Your law within us and upon our hearts. Thank you for forgiving all our iniquities and healing all our diseases.  And thank you for creating a way so we know, understand, and be acquainted with You.  Remember and Meditate on the finished work of the cross. And that we have been crucified with Christ. (Galatians 2:20 AMPC) (Isaiah 53:5 AMPC) Declaration and Decree: I have been crucified with Christ.  In Him I have shared His crucifixion.   It is no longer I who live, but Christ the Messiah lives in me.  And the life I now live in the body I live by faith and in complete trust in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Just as Christ was crucified we are to crucify our flesh daily. Pray for the desires of your flesh to be crucified and die. (Romans 8:12-15).  (Luke 9:23) (Romans 8:36) Father help me not live according to the flesh but by the power of the Holy Spirit let me put to death and make extinct every evil deed prompted by the body.  And help me pick up my cross daily denying myself and following after you.  And give me the grace and strength to die all day long to each and every desire, impulse not of You, and evil fleshly thing. Pray for God’s provision for all we need to fulfill God’s plans in our lives. (Exodus 12:35-36) (Proverbs 13:22) .  Father just as you gave the Israelites favour in the eyes of their enemies. Give me favour in the eyes of my enemies as well.  Strip my enemies of the things which they posses and bring the wealth of the wicked to me. THE SEVENTH WATCH (12:00pm-3:00pm) “A time of rest” This is a time to rest. As well this is the time when the sun’s light is the brightest. A time for you to shine your brightest as well. It can also be a time of destruction in our world. (Matthew 27:45 AMPC)  (Psalm 55:17 AMPC) (Daniel 6:10 AMPC) (Psalm 91:5-6,14 AMPC) (Acts 10:9-16 AMPC) Pray and meditate on Psalm 91 and enter rest. (Proverbs 4:18 AMPC) (Matthew 6:13 AMPC) THE EIGTH WATCH (3:00pm-6:00PM) “A time to die to self” This is a time to die to self. A time when Jesus gave up His spirit on the cross to die. This is time to remember to live triumphantly in your life because of what Jesus did. (Matthew 27:46,50 AMPC) (Romans 6:4-14 AMPC) (Galatians 2:20 AMPC) (Philippians 1:21 AMPC) (Matthew 28:18-20 AMPC) (Ephesians 2:10) (Philippians 1:6)

Week 4

Study Week 4 Prayer Bible Study Week 4 Gatekeeper (1 Chronicles 9:23-27) What were they guarding in 1 Chronicles? They were guarding the temple of the Lord. Who were they guarding it from? They were guarding it from their enemies and warring nations. Back then they would know their enemies by the way they looked. They would have stuck out. Big time, they would have dressed differently, talked differently, looked differently, smelt differently, sounded differently. People in their own village would be around the same type of people so much because their cultures didn’t mix. They would have been able to spot other warring nations or enemies very quickly. We talked about how spotting our enemies today can be much more difficult, but why is that? Gatekeepers, how do we know who are enemies are today? Today can we spot the enemies? Can we spot the things that look differently, sound differently, act differently? Can we spot the things that are warring against us and trying to invade our temple of God? Proverbs 4 tells us we need to be guarding our hearts from these things. (Proverbs 4:20-27) It’s like the example with currency which is often used. Get to know the real and the fakes will stick out. We need to spend more time getting to know the real and the Word of God and the fake will stand out to us. As well we need to shut in the doors and not mix with the outside world, (spiritual things) and we will be able to spot the enemies. (Ephesians 6:12) How do we do this? It starts with self examination (Psalm 139:21-24) we must hate the enemies that God hates. You cannot remove what you love. Then it is a desire to remove wicked things from your heart and life. “Search me God, know my heart. See if there is any wicked way in me.” (Psalm 32:8-9) (voice) This seems overwhelming to try and remove things in our life and get rid of mixture. But It’s not up to us. We think we have to do everything on our own. We can’t, and often quit before we start. But God is saying here, I will lead you, guide you, and counsel you and take you where you have never been before. I will lead you to place where you can get rid of mixture. But don’t be stubborn about it. It all starts with us. We need to be willing to get rid of the fakes and surround ourselves with the real. (Joshua 1:8) Meditate on the Word, day and night.
